Gift Idea for the holidays

Need a unique stocking stuffer for this Christmas?  How about a copy of a Hooksett Annual Town and School Report?  Maybe the year you moved to Hooksett, started a new job, or bought a new home?  How about giving your child a report for the year he or she was born, started or graduated from elementary or high school?  What fun it will be to look back and read about what was happening in your town at those key life moments.  Just $5 each.
The Heritage Commission has acquired reports for 1961 – 2012 with some in each decade.  1961-1988 cover the calendar year; 1989 thru 2012 are for fiscal years ending June 30.
Dave Pearl has graciously agreed to be the pickup point at his place of business, Spotlight Video, at 79 Main Street, Hooksett.  Please email or call me to see if we have the year you want.  If we do, then we can make arrangements for you to pick it up.  All proceeds from the sale of these reports will be donated to the Town Hall Preservation Project.
PS—the 1961 report has the minutes of the last town meeting held in our old town hall.  1961 was the year the “hall” was converted to municipal offices.
