Two open house scheduled for late August

the Prescott will be open Thursday 8/21 from noon to 2 and on Monday 8/22 from 11 to 130.  Scheduled appointments to Hooksett’s attic can be arranged please contact jim 485 4951.    The HHS is supported by you , any donation of Hooksett history related items are welcomed.  for those who may have photo’s or items that they would like to keep but would be willing to scan for our members viewing pleasure  we would be happy to receive copies of for the society

 here is a photo of a 1st or 2nd grade desk and chair from Martins Corner School- the desk was recently obtained and was refurbished by Paul Loiselle.


with school opening next week this is a perfect look back to martins Corner which closed around 1958
