General Thomas/ june 26 minutes

The Hooksett historical society held its last meeting of the season with a presentation on General Thomas by David Decker. He spoke for  70 minutes with very few notes.  The meeting was called to order at 630 pm. Mat Bose , Assistant Librarian , talked about library programs and the civil war display at the library.  Jim Sullivan discussed upcoming programs for Sept, Oct and March 2015.  Open houses planned throughout the summer, need of volunteers for inventory and possible help from a local church .   treasurer Bair gave updated on the finances.   In September 2014, the 175th anniversary of Henry David Thoreau visit to Hooksett as covered in the book two weeks on the Merrimack, and we recently acquired  a lighter from china dragon and matchbook from Lombardo restaurant , located at 99 site . 30 attended the program
