Cheever Murals to be unveiled

The Town of Hooksett and the Hooksett Heritage Commission invite you to the official unveiling of two newly conserved murals by Amherst artist William Abbott Cheever depicting Native American scenes.These murals began their life in the Hooksett McDonald’s, then hung in Hooksett elementary schools, and now will be shown in Town Council Chambers.With the proceeds of a Cultural Conservation Grant from the NH State Council on the Arts, the murals have been cleaned and restored.
Please join us to welcome these wonderful art treasures to public display once again.

Place: Hooksett Municipal Office Building, 35 Main Street, Hooksett, NH
