New additions to our collection

Though the town may have lost a landmark- Tom’s cabins – just south of the Brick house on rte3- the society was able to obtain a feature of the old office building. We now have in our possession 70 block pieces of glass from the site. Thank you to the current owners of the site, town administrator Shankle, and thanks to our code enforcement officer and public works director for their assistance. It is currently in storage at old town hall

Heritage day

The 2012 heritage was a success. On May 20,2012 the Society was visited by a few people including Town Administrator Dean Shankle who video taped a small portion of his visit , highlighting som of the exhibits at the 103 Year old Prescott Building. To see the video, which also includes his visit to Robies Country store and a delightful chat with Dorothy Robie, visit the town website and view the video
