A etching of the Original Hooksett Town Hall built in 1828 will be featured at the Hooksett McDonalds.  THe Society recently received a few items from the Old McDonalds , including the entrance sign .

Town Hall gets another Historic Display

The Hooksett Historical society has just added a third display case of  Hooksett Historic nick nacks to the hall way of the town Hall. the display joins two other cabinets located near the Council chambers. come take a peak at some interesting items of our towns past


Hooksett gifts are now available from the historical Society and Heritage Commission- for a list of items available for purchase please  visit the About Hooksett section of our website. These items are unigue to our community and help to fund projects by both organizations. they range from blankets, prints and ornaments.

Robies celebrates History week

Robie’s Country Store celebrates New Hampshire History Month 

On Wednesday October 19, 2011 the stop so many primary candidates make, Robie’s, 

will host Neil Levesque, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics 

and Political Library. Mr. Levesque who has a vast knowledge of political history will 

talk on the History of the New Hampshire Primary. Many interesting stories and 

anecdotes will be heard. A question and answer period will also shed light on the 

importance of this important event in our history.

 Robie’s will also provide light snacks and beverages. The gathering is at 7 p.m. and the program will start promptly at 7:15. Robie’s Store is at9 Riverside St.in Hooksett and can be reached off I-93 exit 11 to Rte  3-A north.Riversideis the first right heading north.
